No. 11 seed Xavier takes on No. 6 seed Illinois on Friday, March 21 in the NCAA Tournament First Round. Tip-off is slated for 9:45 p.m. ET from Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee with the game being aired nationally on CBS.
Xavier advanced to the NCAA Tournament First Round following an 86-80 win over No. 11 seed Texas in the NCAA Tournament First Four on Wednesday, March 19.
The winner of Friday's contest will face the winner of the No. 3 Kentucky / No. 14 Troy game on Sunday, March 23 in the NCAA Tournament Second Round.
