CINCINNATI --- Kacey White has resigned as the head coach of the Xavier women's soccer program to accept a coaching position with U.S. Soccer. White, who accepted the Xavier position in December 2016, has previously worked with U.S. Soccer as an assistant coach. White earned a spot as a player on the USWNT from 2006-10.
"We have a program with tremendous potential in a great league, the BIG EAST Conference," said Greg Christopher, Xavier Director of Athletics. "Our complete focus is on the Xavier women's soccer student-athletes. We will find the best coaching leader for our women's soccer program."
Xavier will open a national search to find a new women's soccer head coach.
