Musketeers receiving votes in NSCAA Top 25 for second time this season
CINCINNATI - After a 2-0 week, Xavier men's soccer is back in the national rankings. The Musketeers checked in at No. 24 in the Top Drawer Soccer National Poll on Tuesday, and are also receiving votes in the NSCAA Coaches Poll.
It's the second time in the Top Drawer Soccer Top 25 this season for XU, which has also received votes six times in the College Soccer News Top 30.
In the latest NCAA RPI, the Musketeers are up 25 spots this week to No. 17 overall.
Xavier is 6-3-2 overall and 3-1 in the BIG EAST heading into Tuesday night's match against Belmont, which is slated for a 7:30 p.m. kickoff at NKU Soccer Stadium. The Musketeers have been dominant on defense lately, recording shutouts in four of their last five matches.
