No. 19 Men's Soccer Draws with Ohio State in Exhibition Play

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - No. 19 men's soccer drew even with Ohio State, 1-1, to wrap up exhibition play 2-0-1 on Friday night at the Shindigz National Soccer Festival in Fort Wayne, Ind.
The Musketeers open the regular season one week from tonight, on Friday, August 28 against Eastern Illinois. First touch is set for 8:00 p.m. ET at Xavier Soccer Complex.
Jalen Brown put Xavier up in the 27th minute with the first goal of the match, but OSU equalized in the 78th minute off a penalty score by Liam Doyle. The Buckeyes ended their preseason 1-0-1 after defeating No. 4 Notre Dame last week, 2-1.
XU finished its preseason with wins over SIU Edwardsville and Cincinnati State, as well as the draw against OSU.
