In a continued effort to support university faculty and students, Superior Credit Union is proud to announce the fourth year of the INNOVATIVE EDUCATOR OF THE YEAR AWARD. This award recognizes innovative, creative faculty members in the Xavier community.
HOW IT WORKS:
HOW IT WORKS:
- Individuals can nominate faculty by following the nomination process outlined below.
- After October 18, 2018, finalists will be notified and will receive a link for the application.
- Finalists will be asked to make a case for what distinguishes them as an innovative educator. This will be accomplished through an essay of up to 300 words. The nominated individual will be ask to point to specific evidence of creative, effective innovation in their teaching.
- One winner and (2) runners-up will be chosen by committee review of SUPERIOR CREDIT UNION management.
- Cash prizes will be awarded as follows:
- $1,000 for the winner
- $500 for each finalist
- All three finalists will receive (2) suite tickets to the Xavier Men's Basketball game versus Oakland on December 1, 2018 and will be recognized at the game.
HOW TO NOMINATE:
- Nominations are now open and will be accepted through the end of the day on October 1, 2018.
- SUPERIOR CREDIT UNION will accept personal nominations in addition to nominations from the Xavier community.
