CINCINNATI - Senior volleyball libero Stephanie Vorherr was named to the AVCA All-Region Honorable Mention team on Tuesday. The award adds to Vorherr's long list of honors and achievements she garnered during her four-year career as a Musketeer.

Vorherr earned AVCA All-America Honorable Mention and All-Region accolades as a sophomore in 2010. She is also a three-time A-10 Libero of the Year and three-time second team all-conference honoree.

The Xavier record books have essentially been rewritten by the Cincinnati native (Mother of Mercy HS). Vorherr's 2,152 career digs are a record for both Xavier and the Atlantic 10 Conference. She registered a total of 558 digs this season, the second most in program history. The record of 603 was set in 2010 by Vorherr, who holds four of Xavier's top-five single-season totals. The libero has posted nine of XU's top 15 single-game dig totals, including the top mark of 46 digs set this season against Ole Miss.
