CINCINNATI - The Xavier volleyball team will host intrastate rival Dayton Friday, Nov. 4 at Cintas Center for a 7 p.m. match. The Musketeers' three seniors Michelle Matia, Kathryn Traut and Emily Mayers will be honored prior to the match in a senior night presentation.

Xavier (16-9, 8-3 A-10) picked up two 3-0 victories in its most recent weekend of Atlantic 10 action against George Washington and Rhode Island. The Musketeers are a spotless 7-0 at Cintas Center this season. For their efforts in those two matches Sarah Brown and Aubree Smith were honored as A-10 Offensive Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week. It was the second and fifth nod of the season for Brown and Smith.

Dayton is currently riding a 15-match winning streak coming into this weekend's match up. In the last 47 sets, Dayton has only dropped two sets, one of which was to the Musketeers back on Oct. 14. In fact, that set was the last one the Flyers have dropped (15-straight sets). Rachel Krabacher leads the Flyer attack with a staggering 4.49 kills/set average. Megan Campbell boasts the best hitting percentage on the squad at .411 (243-48-474). Setter Samantha Selsky earns 10.53 assists/set while Paige Vargas passes 4.54 digs/set.

The match is going to be live streamed on GoXavier.com. Stay tuned to GoXavier.com for more information on Xavier volleyball.
