Xavier (5-3) and Texas A&M (5-1) open the tournament with a 10 a.m. match Friday morning. XU will play Columbia (1-2) at 5 p.m. Friday evening before closing out the tournament against host Delaware (1-4) on Saturday at 7 p.m.

Sounds Like a Broken Record
Vorherr collected 20 digs against Miami (OH) on Tuesday evening to set Xavier's career-record for digs with 1,735. The senior libero surpassed Beth Osterday, who recorded 1,728 digs from 1996-99. This is the second record that Vorherr has broken in the last week.
Sounds Like a Broken Record, Part II
Vorherr broke her own school record for digs in a match, when she connected on 46 digs against Ole Miss. Vorherr had previously set XU's mark at 43 against Dayton (Oct. 15, 2010).
Atlantic 10 Accolades
Prior to Xavier's match against Miami (OH) on Tuesday, Vorherr was named the Atlantic 10 Defensive Player of the Week. This was the sixth weekly honor from the conference office for Vorherr.
Last Time Out
Xavier enters the University of Delaware Invitational having won its last contest at Miami (OH), 3-2. In addition to Vorherr's record-setting performance, Amé White posted career-highs in kills (19) and digs (19). Sarah Brownalso recorded 19 digs for XU.
Scouting the Opposition - Texas A&M
TAMU has won four-straight matches, including all three in claiming the Yale Classic title.
A&M's only blemish is a 3-1 loss to No. 5 USC.
Team Leaders: Lindsey Miller (2.84 kills/set; 1.26 blocks/set), Alisia Kastmo (2.83 kills/set), Allie Sawatzky (8.45 assists/set) and Megan Pndergast (3.79 digs/set).
Averaging 14.20 kills/set and a hitting percentage of .248.
Scouting the Opposition - Columbia
Columbia went 1-2 in the Courtyard by Marriott/University of Central Florida Classic, defeating Jacksonville and falling to UCF and Liberty.
Team Leaders: Caitlin Brenton (3.38 kills/set), Kelsey Musselman (7.67 assists/set), Molly Winger (3.30 digs/set) and Savannah Fletcher (1.29 blocks/set).
Averaging 11.5 kills/set, but allowing 14.3 kills/set.
Scouting the Opposition - Delaware
The Blue Hens posted a 1-2 record in the Holiday Inn Jefferson Cup hosted by Virginia last weekend. They opened the season with two losses in the Aztec Invitational.
Team Leaders: Katie Hank (2.46 kills/set), Mackenzie Olsen (8.75 assists/set), Ariel Shonk (4.69 digs/set) and Katie Hillman (.94 blocks/set).
Averaging 10.5 kills/set and giving up 15.5 kills/set.
