Rougraff recorded her second double-double of the season

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - The Xavier volleyball team picked up a 3-0 victory (25-17, 25-21, 25-9) against the La Salle Explorers Sunday afternoon at Tom Gola Arena. Sophomore Kelsey Dunaway, junior Kaleigh Rougraff and red-shirt sophomore Alex Smith led the Musketeers with double-digit kills.
With the win the Musketeers improve to 18-9 on the season and 10-3 in Atlantic 10 play. The Explorers drop to 5-22 on the year and 1-9 in conference action.
Dunaway led the match with 13 kills off a .345 clip (13-3-29). Rougraff earned her second double-double of the season with 10 kills and 13 digs. Smith led the Musketeers in hitting percentage at .588 to tally 10 kills.
Freshman Aubree Smith added 42 assists to go with seven digs, three kills and a service ace. Junior Stephanie Vorherr had 23 digs as well as an ace. Junior Amé White had six kills to go with a team-best two service aces. Freshman Kelly Westerkamp passed a career-high six digs to go with one kill.
Xavier outhit La Salle .295 to .046 and got 48 kills to the Explorers' 21. La Salle's Kourtney Clark and Samantha Tulskie each had six kills while Clark had 13 assists.
