Deaton on Traut... "A girl out of Pittsburgh, played club ball for Renaissance which is a good team. She is similar to Michelle (Matia), not quite as big and solid but she's quick. She comes from a volleyball family, is knowledgeable about the sport and has a quick arm. We look forward to having her."
2008 ...played in all but two matches during her freshman season as a Musketeer, seeing action in 86 sets ... was named to the Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team ... smashed out a career-high 10 kills and got under a career-high four digs Aug. 30 versus Toledo ... tallied a career-high five assisted blocks versus Drake on Sept. 12 ... finished the season with 116 kills and ranked third on the team with 51 total blocks.
