Deaton on Kowal: "I do not think she understands her athletic potential. She has to get a little bit of aggressiveness coming in. At 6'2", she has all the athletic ability to contribute but she is going to have to leave it on the floor everyday."

2004...played in 10 matches and 13 games...recorded her first block assist in collegiate debut against UMBC on Sept. 1...came back the following weekend to record her first career kill and notch a career-high three block assists against Montana State on Sept. 3...the following day she recorded a career-high six kills and .600 hitting percentage (6 kills on 10 attempts) against College of Charleston on Sept. 4...had her first collegiate dig at Temple on Oct. 9
