2013-14 BIG EAST All-Academic Team

2013: Played 44 sets in 20 matches this season ... Against No. 22 Creighton, registered season-high nine kills ... Matched season-high nine kills in next match against St. John's, while adding five digs ... Notched six kills and a pair of aces in XU's home win over Butler ... Came through with three service aces in Xavier's victory at DePaul.

2012: Saw action in 115 sets throughout 32 matches ... Recorded 229 kills, 18 service aces, 104 digs and 52 blocks ... Averaged 1.99 kills per set, .90 digs per set and .45 blocks per set ... Registered 10 kills, seven digs and two blocks in the A-10 Championship match against top-seeded and 12th-ranked Dayton ... Had match-high 10 kills (.318 hitting percentage) in A-10 Championship Semis against VCU ... Tied career-high five blocks against Cincinnati while also logging 10 kills ... Notched a career-high-tying 16 kills in the regular-season finale against Ball State ... Posted 15 kills and three blocks against A-10-foe Temple ... Recorded 12 kills and six digs against non-conference-opponent Loyola Marymount ... At No. 18, Dayton recorded season-high eight digs and five kills ... 2011: Saw action in 101 sets over 29 matches, getting the starting nod 10 times ... Fifth on the team in hitting percentage at .229 and third in kills with 239 ... Named to the Maryland Invitational All-Tournament team ... tallied a career-high 16 kills at Saint Louis on Nov. 11 ... Passed a career-best eight digs vs. LSU on Sept. 9 ... Knocked in a career-high four service aces at Rhode Island on Oct. 22 ... Best blocking performance of the season came vs. Duquesne on Sept. 30 where she posted a solo block and a career-high four assisted blocks.

2010: In her first season as a Musketeer, Dunaway competed in 42 sets over 19 matches, starting twice...recorded a career high 7 kills vs. Temple on Nov. 12 ... got under a career high two digs six times throughout the season including at Lipscomb on Nov. 27.

Prior to Xavier: Led her team to back-to-back appearances in the Kentucky state championships in 2008 and 2009 and was named to the 2009 State Championship All-Tournament Team. She was a three-time member of the All-District Team and a 2009 member of the All-Region and All-State Teams. Dunaway also earned Academic All-State First Team accolades three consecutive years ... playing for Mid-America Volleyball Association, Dunaway was named to the AAU All-American Team in 2007 and 2009. Her MAVA Elite teams posted top-three finishes in the 2005, 2006 and 2007 AAU Championships, the 2005 and 2006 Junior Olympics and the 2008 JVDA National Championship.
