Deaton on Horvath: "Jenni started on the right side for us last year and was injured. She had surgery in the off-season but has rehabbed really hard and is the heir-apparent to the right side."


2006... a regular in the Xavier starting lineup, starting in 28 matches for XU and playing in 105 games during her junior campaign... earned all-tournament honors for her work at the Florida International Invitational... set a new career high in kills with 16 on Sept. 22 against Charlotte en route to posting her first career double-double (11 digs) and then tied that career high 16 kills two days later against George Washington... tallied a career-high 22 digs in three games Oct. 20 against Duquesne... also posted new career marks in aces (2), assists (55) and block assists (6) during her third year as a Musketeer... was second on the team in assists (218) and digs (288) and was third in blocks (48)... earned All-Championship team honors for her performance during the 2006 A-10 Championship... named to the Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll following the fall semester.

2005... saw action in 22 matches and 50 games as a sophomore... was third on the team in assists per game (0.30)... broke her previous career high of five kills on Oct. 22 vs. La Salle when she posted seven kills in the match... tied her career mark of two assists four times as a sophomore....broke her previous career high of six digs four times setting a new career high with 11 vs. Tennessee on Sept. 16... also turned in three total blocks in that same match vs. Tennessee at Purdue's Mortar Board Premiere Tournament.

2004... played in 20 matches and 44 games... recorded her first assist and dig during her collegiate debut against UMBC on Sept. 1... had her first career kill, block assist and ace in her next match against Alabama on Sept. 3, also recording a career-high two aces in that match... notched a career-high six digs in her next match against College of Charleston on Sept. 4... against Rhode Island on Oct. 1 she set career marks for kills with five, hitting percentage with an .833 (five kills on six attempts), assists with two and tied her mark in digs with six... tied her career mark of six digs again on Nov. 26 against Auburn... had seven matches with at least four digs.

High School... played four years of varsity volleyball... school record holder for most kills in a season... named to the Southwest Ohio Volleyball Coaches Association's First-Team All-City... selected to the Cincinnati Enquirer's All-Star Volleyball First-Team two years in a row... earned team's Most Valuable Player award her junior year... also played three years of varsity basketball.
