Xavier junior Katie Pleiman was named first team and academic All-Atlantic 10 and freshman Daniella Patton was named second team All-Conference in voting conducted by the league's coaches.

The annual Midwest Sports/Xavier Tennis Pro-Am will be held on Saturday, June 9. This annual event helps to bring in over $35,000 each year for the Xavier University Tennis programs.

The Xavier women's tennis team's season came to an end Friday as the No. 5 seeded Musketeers fell 4-0 to the No. 4 seeded Temple Owls. Xavier finished the 2012 campaign with a 16-6 overall record.

The No. 5 seeded Xavier women's tennis team advanced to the second round to the Atlantic 10 tournament Thursday with a commanding 4-0 win over No. 12 seeded St. Bonaventure at the Boar's Head Sports Club.
