"Detroit Mercy started the doubles very strong tonight. We fought back to win a couple tight doubles matches and carried that momentum into the singles. Our team chemistry is very strong right now. We are playing for each other and hopefully we can keep it up next weekend against Indiana University"

XU Women Post First Win Of 2012

The Xavier women's tennis team earned its first win of the 2012 dual match season with a 4-3 win over Toledo Friday afternoon. Freshman Daniella Patton earned the first dual match win of her career as she took home a 6-0, 6-3 win at No. 2 singles. The Musketeers improved to 1-1 on the season.
