Head Coach Eric Toth announced the signing of two standout prep tennis stars Thursday.

CINCINNATI – The Xavier women’s tennis team signed two recruits in the 2009 fall signing period, coach Eric Toth announced Thursday. Signees Andrea Wolf and Allyson Westling were both ranked as three-star recruits by tennisrecruiting.net.
"Andrea (Wolf) and Allyson (Westling) are great fits for Xavier both academically and athletically,” said Toth. “They will will be great to have in the program for four years and will always represent themselves to the highest standard both on and off the court. They are both very athletic girls whose best years in tennis are ahead of them. I look for both of their games to take off in college."
Wolf, a native of Cincinnati, was named a three-star recruit and top 10 prospect in Ohio rated by tennisrecruiting.net. She competed in the Division I Ohio High School Tennis Tournament as a junior and senior at Mt. Notre Dame High School in Cincinnati. She also led Mt. Notre Dame to the state championship match in the Ohio Tennis Coaches Association state team tournament.
Westling, a native of Ft. Wrigt, Ky., was named a three-star recruit and the No. 1 ranked prospect in Kentucky by Tennisrecruiting.net. She competed in the Kentucky High School State Doubles Tournament as a junior at Notre Dame Academy. She is also a two-sport star and a starter on the Notre Dame Academy Kentucky state finalist soccer team.
