CINCINNATI - Head coach Eric Toth, in his seventh season, has released the Spring 2014 Inaugural BIG EAST schedule. The schedule includes four BIG EAST dual matches with three of them in Cincinnati against Butler, Creighton and Providence.

"Our team is excited about the make-up of our 2014 schedule," said Toth. "We will be competing against several strong non-conference foes and the new BIG EAST conference opponents that will prepare us for the end of the year when you want to be at your best. Coach Matthews and I like what we see of our team and feel we will be right in the mix of making a run at a BIG EAST title in April."

The Musketeers will open their spring season against Indiana on Saturday, Jan. 25 at Western Tennis and Fitness Club. They will end their season with the BIG EAST Championship April 24-27 at the USTA National Tennis Center in Queens, N.Y.

Last spring season, the Musketeers tallied a 20-6 record, 9-0 in conference play and finished second at the Atlantic 10 Championship.

Xavier graduated three seniors, but brought in two freshman, Christina Di Lorenzo and Sydney Liggins, who look to make big strides in their first college spring season. Sophomore Alex Brinker to leads the team this season following a stellar freshman year. Brinker went 9-0 in conference play and 24-2 in dual matches in her freshman campaign.
