CINCINNATI - The Xavier women's team will open up its 2012 fall schedule this weekend at the 37th Annual Milwaukee Tennis Classic at The Town Club in Fox Point, Wis.
The Musketeers will face Western Michigan, Marquette, and Detroit in both singles and doubles action beginning Friday morning.
Xavier opens up the first day with singles play against Western Michigan starting at 11 a.m. and will return to the court for doubles play against host Marquette beginning at 1 p.m.
The Musketeers play again Saturday morning against Marquette in singles play and Detroit in doubles action later in the day.
The final day of competition begins with a doubles match against Western Michigan and concludes with singles play against Detroit.
Head coach Eric Toth returns seven players from last year's squad. Katie Pleiman, Kally Alkire and Natalie Handler are the three seniors on this year's team. Also returning are juniors Allyson Westling and Andrea Wolf and sophomores Daniella Patton and Lizzie Oosterbaan. Toth also has four rookies in Megan Morris, Brooke Dennis, Caitlin Lawless, and Alex Brinker.
