CINCINNATI - Sixth-year head coach Eric Toth unveiled the fall portion of the women's tennis schedule, which features the Musketeers in three local tournaments as well as the Fall Regional Championships.
The Musketeers will open the fall slate at the Northern Kentucky University Invitational on Sept. 20-22, followed by the Miami (OH) Invitational onSept. 28-29. Xavier will then travel to the University of Memphis on Oct. 18-22 for the USTA/ITA Fall Regional Championships. The fall schedule will wrap up with the University of Cincinnati Invitational on Nov. 1-3.
Xavier is coming off a staggering 20-6 campaign last season, which included a perfect 8-0 conference record. The Musketeers' season ended in the championship match of the Atlantic 10 Conference Tournament.
Xavier graduated a trio of seniors but will have plenty of talent returning. Sophomore Alex Brinker will lead the charge for the Musketeers after posting a stellar 24-2 record in dual play, including a perfect 9-0 mark in conference play.
