CINCINNATI - The Xavier University women's tennis team dominated Wright State, defeating the Raiders 7-0 on Tuesday afternoon at the XU Tennis Courts in Cincinnati. With the win, the Musketeers improve to 13-5 on the year.
XU took care of business in doubles, outscoring Wright State by a 24-3 count to win the doubles point. Kate Lohner and Jeannette Feider posted an 8-0 shut out win vs. Jackie Garrett and Kelsey Miles at No. 3 doubles.
The Musketeers were equally as effective in singles as the team dropped only one set. Kaitlyn Zinn, Feider and Alicia Papa all posted convincing 6-0, 6-0 wins.
Xavier will return to action on Friday, April 13 when the team travels to Louisville to take on the Cardinals. The match is slated to begin at 4 p.m.
