CINCINNATI - The Xavier women's tennis team will crisscross the Midwest this weekend as it travels to Saint Louis before returning home to host Duquesne in a big Atlantic 10 weekend.

The Musketeers (10-4 overall) are looking to improve on their 4-0 conference record and have a chance to earn a higher seeding for the upcoming Atlantic 10 Championship.

Friday's match begins against the Billikens begins at 6:30 p.m. at the St. Clair Tennis Club in O'Fallon, Ill. The Musketeers host the Dukes beginning at 10 a.m. at the Mercy Fairfield HealthPlex on Sunday.

Xavier is riding a three-match winning streak which includes 4-3 victories over Massachusetts and Temple. The Musketeers also have a 7-0 victory against IUPUI in that stretch.

Alex Brinker hopes to extend her winning streak of 12 this weekend and Katie Pleiman is 7-3 in her last 10 matches. As a team XU is 51-33 in singles dual results and 22-19 in doubles contests.

The Billikens are 8-5 overall and picked up a win over Dayton in their only conference match of the season. Saint Louis is guided by Stephanie Hollis and Brooke Urzendowski. Duquesne is 4-7 overall 1-2 in conference matches. The Dukes are led by Chandler Consonery.
