WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The Xavier women’s tennis team featured two competitors on Saturday at the USTA/ITA regional championships. Daniella Patton and Alex Brinker both competed in the singles consolation draw.

Patton played only one match on the day, falling to Purdue’s Daniela Vidal, 6-2, 6-0.

Brinker won both of her matches on the day. First, she battled for a three set victory over Tennessee’s Tiffany Tavares, then picked up a straight set win over ETSU.

Brinker will look to keep her tournament going as she squares off against Memphis’ Kelly Gray tomorrow at 11 a.m.
