The invitational was broken up into seven singles flights and four doubles flights, with Musketeers entering a competitor into all of them.

Each of the four doubles teams played just one match on Friday, combining for a 3-1 record. Alkire and Katie Pleiman competed in the first flight, rolling over Cleveland State 8-0. In the second flight, Wolf and Patton fell to IPFW 8-2, setting up a consolation match with rival Cincinnati.
