Cincinnati - The Xavier women's tennis team fell to 2-2 on the season after falling 7-0 to the visiting Hoosiers of Indiana Saturday.

In the No. 1 singles match Leslie Hureau defeated junior Katie Pleiman 6-0, 6-4. In the No. 3 singles match sophomore Andrea Wolf fell to Carolyn Chupa in three, 6-0, 6-4, 10-4.

The Hoosiers swept the Musketeers in doubles with Chupa and Katie Klyczek defeating Pleiman and junior Kally Alkire 8-3 in the No. 1 match.

"We competed hard today. We need to play bigger and better on the big points.  Hopefully that comes with confidence.  We have a strong team and I can't wait to play Cleveland State and Youngstown State next weekend,"  said assistant coach Doug Matthews.

The Musketeers will return to action Friday as they travel to Cleveland State at 7 p.m.
