Five Xavier tennis players earned conference awards. Jimmy Roebker, Mesa Mei, and Katie Pleiman were named to the first team. Brandon MacDonald and Daniella Patton earned second team honors. MacDonald and Pleiman were named to the academic team.
Xavier heads into the 2012 Atlantic 10 Women's Tennis Championship this weekend in Charlottesvilla, Va.

2013-14 BIG EAST All-Academic Team
As a Junior (2013-14): Ended the season with a 19-12 singles record during her junior year as #4 singles ... Had just one loss against BIG EAST competition (Marquette's Vanessa Foltinger) ... Closed out the season with seven-straight victories, including two wins in the BIG EAST Championships against Seton Hall and Marquette ... Paired with Cristina Di Lorenzo for the entire season in doubles matches and compiled a record of 20-7 (tied for best on team) as the #2 doubles ... Claimed a win over #40 Indiana's Alecia Kauss and Shannon Murdy to start the spring season (6-4) ... Built a 12-match unbeaten streak in doubles competition (Nov. 1 - Mar. 5) ... Registered a doubles win against Seton Hall in the BIG EAST Championships (8-6).
As a Sophomore (2012-13): Posted a 5-1 record in Atlantic 10 Conference play... Won six of the last seven matches she competed, including a win over Massachusetts's Jocelyn Providence, 6-1, 6-1, in the semi-finals of the Atlantic 10 Tournament... Helped the Musketeers reach the Atlantic 10 Tournament finals by going 2-1 while leading 1-0 when the singled point was secured...Went undefeated in the No. 4 spot...Found success at the Bowling Green Invitational with doubles partner Ally Westling...The team won their flight with an 8-6 victory over Bowling Green.
As a Freshman (2011-12): Named to the Atlantic 10 Second Team and had a 15-15 overall singles record and a 13-10 mark when playing in doubles matches ... Posted 10 singles victories at the No. 2 spot for the Musketeers and 3-3 mark in conference appearances ... Was a successful doubles partner with Allyson Westling and the two went 8-4, which included a 7-4 mark at the No. 2 doubles position during the spring ... She also had a 4-1 record with Andrea Wolf as her doubles partner ... Won three straight with Wolf as her partner in the latter half of the year.
Prior to Xavier: Finished top-three in state 2009-11... Four year H.H. Dow High School varsity player.
