Xavier head coach Woody Sherwood adds eight new faces to the roster this season and brings back a strong core from last year's 9-8-1 squad, Xavier's first winning season since 2005. The Musketeers will feature 18 returning players, including senior captains Katie Schweer and Katie Marksbery. Sophomore defender Courtney Kobashigawa, who was named to the Preseason All-BIG EAST second team by College Sports Madness, was part of the Xavier backline that helped XU record eight shutouts last season.
