McNair Wins 2012 PGA Minority Collegiate Golf Tournament

Junior Ariel McNair won the 26th PGA Minority Collegiate Golf Championship at the Ryder and Wanamaker Golf Course. McNair shot an 84-79-76 (239) in the three-day tournament to take the top spot in the Women's Independent Division.

XU's Christine Cash Named to CAA All-Conference Second Team

Sophomore women's golfer Christine Cash has been named to the 2012 Colonial Athletic Association's All-Conference Second Team in a vote among the league's head coaches. This is the first postseason honor for Cash, a Paducah, Ky., native.

XU Takes Fourth Place at 2012 CAA Women's Golf Championship

The Xavier women's golf team finished the 2012 Colonial Athletic Association Championship in fourth place after posting a three-round total of 923 (+59, 302-311-310) at the Reserve Club at St. James Plantation. Sophomore Christine Cash was the Musketeers' top finisher after she carded a 78-72-78=228 (+12), which was tied for seventh-best.

Women's Golf in Tie for Third at CAA Championship After Second Round

After the second day of the 2012 Colonial Athletic Association Women's Golf Championship, the Xavier women's golf team is in a tie for third place out of 10 teams. The Musketeers posted a 23-over-par round of 311 for the day (302-311=613), highlighted by sophomore Christine Cash's team-best 72 (E).
