Women's Golf Set To Wrapup Fall Season At The Palmetto Intercollegiate

CINCINNATI - Head Coach Tom Elfers and the Xavier women’s golf team will wrap up the 2013 fall slate at the 2013 Palmetto Intercollegiate in Kiawah Island, S.C.
Live scoring will be available at www.golfstat.com and play on the Par 72 – 5,972 yard course will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday with the second round following directly afterward. Monday’s final round will start at 8:45 a.m. All rounds will be a shotgun start.
Xavier will send five golfers, led by seniors Ariel McNair (Aurora, Ohio/Walsh Jesuit) and Christine Cash (Paducah, Ky./Heath High School), to the tournament. Junior Abby Smith (Frankfort, Ky./Franklin County High School), sophomore Shane Crutchfield (St. Petersburg, Fla./St. Petersburg) and freshman Grace Howie (Calgary, Alberta, Canada/The Edge School) round out the XU lineup.
This tournament is the fifth leg of a five-event fall slate for the Musketeers. After the Palmetto Intercollegiate, the Xavier women’s golf team will have some time to prepare for the 2014 championship spring season. The Blue and White open the spring campaign with a trip to Amelia Island, Fla. to compete at the Amelia Island Collegiate from Feb. 17-18.
