Women's Golf Set to Compete at Mid-American Conference Preview

CINCINNATI- Xavier women’s golf is set off to participate in the Mid-American Conference Preview, hosted by Akron University. The competition will take place on October 18 and 19 at the par-72, 6,173-yard Longaberger Golf Club in Nashport, Ohio.

On Monday and Tuesday tee-off will start every nine minutes beginning at 8 a.m. Nine teams will be competing in the tournament: host Akron, Ball State, Bowling Green, Cleveland State, Eastern Michigan, Northern Illinois, Ohio, Western Michigan, and Toledo.

Xavier is coming off a third place finish at the Xavier LPGA, where senior Audrey Fellmeth led the team with an overall fifth place finish. Fellmeth carded an 8-over-par for a final score of the tournament.

This will be the Musketeers first time participating in the Mid-American Conference Preview. Results can be found here on GOXAVIER.com.
