The Musketeers are looking to continue their success in the BIG EAST

CINCINNATI- Xavier University women's golf coach Tom Elfers unveiled the fall and spring schedules for the 2013-14 season. The Musketeers are slated to play in five fall tournaments and six spring tournaments including a return to the Rio Verde Invitational and the BIG EAST Tournament.
Five fall events start off the Musketeer's season, beginning with the Indiana Fall Kickoff on Sept. 8 in Noblesville, Ind. Additionally, Xavier will participate in the Yale Women's Intercollegiate (Sept. 20-22), Indiana Invitational (Oct. 20-21) and Edwin Watts/Palmetto Intercollegiate (Oct. 27-28).
The Musketeers will host their annual tournament, the LPGA Xavier Invitational, on Oct. 5-7 in Daytona Beach, Florida. This tournament will be played in the heart of the Musketeers fall schedule. Last season, freshman Shane Crutchfield finished among the top five.
Six events are on tap for the Musketeer's spring slate, including the BIG EAST Championships. Leading off the spring schedule will be the 2014 Amelia Island Collegiate on February 17-18 in Amelia Island, Georgia. Xavier will then travel to the Red Rocks Invitational (Mar. 1-2), Rio Verde Invitational (Mar. 7-9), SDSU Farms Invitational (Mar. 24-26) and the Colonel Classic (Apr. 4-5).
Xavier will wrap up its season back in Daytona Beach for the BIG EAST Championship on April 17-19. For the first time, Xavier will compete against Butler, Creighton, Georgetown, Seton Hall and St. John's in the BIG EAST Championships.
