RICHMOND, Va.- Sophomore women's golfer Christine Cash has been named to the 2012 Colonial Athletic Association's All-Conference Second Team in a vote among the league's head coaches. This is the first postseason honor for Cash, a Paducah, Ky., native.

Cash was the Musketeers' top finisher at the 2012 CAA Championship, finishing in a tie for seventh place with a 78-72-78=228 (+12) three-day total. She led the Musketeers this season with a 76.8 round average and tallied five top-20 finishes on the year.

Georgia State senior Charlotte Lorentzen was selected as the CAA Women's Golfer of the Year for the third consecutive season, the first CAA women's golfer to accomplish that feat. Also earning top honors from the conference were Georgia State's Lauren Court as CAA Rookie of the Year and UNCW's Cindy Ho as CAA Coach of the Year.

Xavier took fourth place overall at the 2012 CAA Championship and will only be losing one team member to graduation.
