Women's Golf Headed to Arizona for Cowgirl Classic

CINCINNATI- The Xavier women’s golf team is set to compete in the Wyoming Cowgirl Classic hosted by University of Wyoming April 4-5. The competition will be held in Chandler, Arizona at the Ocotillo Golf Resort (par 72, 6,184 yards).
The teams that will be competing in this year’s classic include: Boise State, BYU, Cal Poly, Eastern Washington, Idaho State, Montana State, New Mexico State, Northern Arizona, Portland State, Sacramento State, Santa Clara, Seattle, South Dakota State, Sothern Utah, UC Riverside, Utah Valley, Louisiana Monroe, Montana, Northern Colorado, UTEP, Weber State, Wyoming, Xavier.
Both days will begin with a 7:30 a.m. MST shotgun start. 36 rounds will be played on Monday and the final round will be held on Tuesday. Xavier has competed in the Wyoming Cowgirl Classic for the past two years.
Last year Xavier finished in a eighth place at the tournament. Rachel Levi was the team leader at the competition with a tie for 19th place. Levi will be competing in this year’s classic along with Audrey Fellmeth, Michelle Winkler, Breanna Patz, and Kristin Tan.
