ARROYO GRANDE, Calif. - Freshman Breanna Patz carded a one-under par 71 to lead the Xavier University women's golf team into first place after one round at the Lampkin Grip/Cal Poly Invitational, which is being played at the par-72, 6,046-yard Cypress Ridge Golf Course in Arroyo Grande, Calif. The Musketeers are one shot clear of Cal State Northridge heading into Monday's final round.

Patz followed her front-nine 37 with a 34 on the backside. Rachel Levi was also solid, carding rounds of 37-36 - 73 and played herself into a tie for sixth place.

Audrey Fellmeth and Michelle Winkler are in ties for 14th and 20th respectively, while Mary Beth McKenna, who won this event last year, is tied for 31st.
