Christine Cash's second round performance helps Musketeers to fourth place standing.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The Xavier women's golf team were only able to complete the first round and part of the second round Monday, due to a delayed start because of excessive fog and darkness to conclude the first day of the Memphis Invitational. The remainder of the second round and final round will be concluded Tuesday, tee times are set for 8:20 a.m.
A strong collective team effort has the Musketeers tied for 4th with a 535 (+43). Sophomore Kristin Tan leads the way with a six-over-par 127 thru 31 holes. Tan is currently tied for fourth in the field of 69 competitors. Fellow classmate Christine Cash is close behind shooting a 126 (+7) thru 30 holes and is tied for sixth in the field. Cash is having a strong second round shooting one-over-par thru 12 holes.
Junior Breanna Patz is tied for 28th shooting a 14-over-par thru 32 holes, and senior Michelle Winkler posted a 142 (+16) thru 32 holes. Junior Alexandra Lake is 24-over-par through 33 holes. Individuals Ariel McNair and Abby Smith are 18-over-par thru 31 holes and 22-over par thru 28 holes respectively.
Host school Memphis currently sits on top the leader board, shooting a 30-over-par. Marissa Steen of Memphis leads the field with a two-over-par performance thru 30 holes.
