Sophomore Jenna Crittendon recorded her 1st career double-double vs. Austin Peay

CINCINNATI - Sophomore Jenna Crittendon (Union, Ky./Ryle HS) helped lead the Musketeers to a 2-0 record last week and for her performances, she claimed her first career College Sports Madness BIG EAST Player of the Week honor on Monday morning (Dec. 9).
Crittendon, who ranks in the top-20 in scoring in the conference, earned CSM BIG EAST Player of the Week accolades after averaging 16.5 points, 10.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists in the Blue and White's two contests last week. The sophomore also shot 40 percent (12-of-30) from the field and knocked down four triples.
In XU's 70-66 win over Murray State (Dec. 4), Crittendon recorded 12 points to go with a team-high eight rebounds and four assists. She followed that performance with her first career double-double (21 points, 13 rebounds) in Xavier's 72-59 victory over Austin Peay (Dec. 7). She shot 7-of-15 from the field and 3-of-7 from long distance in the win over the Lady Govs.
The Musketeers (5-4), who have won back-to-back games, will be back in action on Sunday, December 15 against Wright State. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. ET at the Nutter Center in Dayton.
