CINCINNATI- The Xavier women's basketball team has announced the complete 2012-13 schedule, including all Atlantic 10 Conference games. The Musketeers will play host to Duquesne, Fordham, George Washington, La Salle, Rhode Island, St. Bonaventure and Saint Louis while traveling to Butler, Charlotte, Dayton, Massachusetts, Richmond, Temple and Virginia Commonwealth.

"This year's women's basketball schedule gives us the opportunity to display our high-level basketball programs with traditional rivalries and new matchups with our two new members - VCU and Butler," stated Atlantic 10 Commissioner Bernadette V. McGlade. "In addition, the television package through our partners at ESPN and CBS Sports Network will showcase our teams, which have made at least seven postseason appearances in each of the last four years."

Although the league has expanded to 16 teams, including Xavier, the A-10 schedule has remained at 14 games. The Musketeers will not face Saint Joseph's and will play Dayton only once this season.

In addition to facing up to nine 2012 post-season participants in its 2012-13 non-conference schedule, Xavier will square off against six A-10 foes that saw action in either the 2012 NCAA Tournament or WNIT last March.

The Musketeers will kick off the Atlantic 10 portion of their 2012-13 slate at home, playing host to the Dukes of Duquesne (WNIT First Round) on Sunday, Jan.13. XU will hit the road for two games, first at Butler on Thursday, Jan. 17 and then on to Charlotte (WNIT First Round) on Sunday, Jan. 20. The Fordham Rams will visit Cincinnati Wednesday, Jan. 23 for the second of three A-10 homes games for the Musketeers in January.

Jan. 27 is Xavier's only currently scheduled television appearance, a 12 p.m. tilt at Richmond (WNIT Second Round). The game will be broadcast live on CBS Sports Network. The Musketeers will round out the month of January at home against Saint Louis on Thursday, Jan. 31.

XU will open February by hosting the Bonnies of St. Bonaventure (NCAA Sweet 16) on Sunday the 3rd followed by a trip up Interstate 75 to square off against regional rival Dayton (NCAA First Round) on Feb. 7. The Musketeers then have back-to-back home contests in a Sunday, Feb. 10 match-up with La Salle and Sunday, Feb. 17's game against Rhode Island.

On Wednesday, Feb. 20 Xavier will be in Philadelphia to face off against Temple (WNIT Third Round) and traveling on to Richmond, Va., for a Saturday meeting at Virginia Commonwealth on Feb. 23. The month closes out at home for the Musketeers, against George Washington on Wednesday, Feb. 27. The 2012-13 regular season will come to a close on Saturday, Mar. 2 in Amherst, Mass., as XU travels to Massachusetts.

The 2013 Atlantic 10 Championship First, Quarterfinal and Semifinal Rounds will be held on the campus of Saint Joseph's University Mar. 8-10 followed by the Championship game at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. (held in conjunction with the A-10 Men's Championship) on Mar. 16.
