CINCINNATI - The Xavier women's basketball players and coaches will be hosting a "Girls Night Out" event on Thursday, August 25th. This is the third year for the event which will be held in Cintas Center and will be a night for moms and daughters (& dads too) who want to play, learn and meet the Xavier women's basketball team!

Girls Night Out will be from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Last year over 300 kids and parents enjoyed a night with the Xavier coaches and players.

Join us for this event and learn basketball skills and the secrets to being a winner on and off the court. Daughters will enjoy a FREE clinic from the Xavier coaches and players for girls in grades 1-8. Parents will have the opportunity to ask Xavier coaches questions about basketball and how to develop their daughters in the game of basketball. Participants will also get a behind the scenes tour and autographs and photos from the Xavier players and a chance to ask questions to the players and coaches in a simulated press conference in the Cintas Center Media Room.

Daughters will also receive a Xavier women's basketball t-shirt and the inspiration to be a winner! Dads, you are also welcome to participate in the events! Light refreshments will be provided.
