CINCINNATI - Senior forward Tara Boothe has been invited to the 2006 WNBA Pre-Draft Camp, which will be held on Monday, April 3 and Tuesday, April 4 in Boston, Mass. The camp is part of a busy weekend in Boston as "Beantown" will play host to the Final Four (April 2-3) and the 2006 WNBA Draft on April 5.

Boothe earned one of the combine's 40 invitations, as representatives from 14 WNBA teams will evaluate who to select for the three-round WNBA draft.

The Fort Thomas, Ky. native finished the 2005-06 season as the Atlantic 10 Conference's leading scorer at 21.5 points per game and second-leading rebounder at 9.3 rebounds per game. She was honored as a First Team All-League selection for the third consecutive year while earning mention on the Atlantic 10 All-Academic Team and as one of 20 players on the John R. Wooden Award Midseason Watch List.

Boothe became XU's all-time leading scorer on January 22 and finished her career with a record 2,324 points. Boothe is also Xavier's all-time leading rebounder and finished her career with 1,004 career boards.
