CINCINNATI - The Xavier University women's basketball team will travel to Philadelphia, Pa. for its WNIT Second Round matchup against Villanova on Tuesday, March, 21. Game time is set for 7:30 p.m. at Villanova's Pavilion.

The Musketeers advanced to the WNIT Second Round by virtue of their 70-65 overtime victory against South Carolina on Friday. XU trailed by as many as 10 points in that contest but battled back to force overtime and earn a spot in the second round for the second consecutive year. The Musketeers improved to 21-8 on the year with the victory.

Xavier is now 3-3 all-time in the WNIT and has won three of its last four WNIT games.

Villanova defeated Hofstra, 71-46, on Saturday in Philadelphia to secure its first-ever WNIT victory. The Wildcats, who come into Tuesday's showdown with a 20-10 overall record, are now 1-3 all-time in the WNIT.
