It Wasn't Easy Being Green ... Until the Bonnies Came to Town
Senior guard Miranda Green had been mired in an offensive slump from 1/17 - 1/26 (at Cincinnati, vs. GW, vs. Duquesne) but broke out during the St. Bonaventure contest on Sunday, January 28. Green scored 12 points (including the 1,000th of her career) on 4-of-5 shooting and had three steals in only 23 minutes of action. In the previous three games, Green had scored 11 total points (3.7 ppg) on 3-of-24 shooting (12.5 percent) in an average of 32 minutes per game.
