Notes · Amber Harris was named the tournament’s Most Outstanding Player and was joined on the All-Tournament Team by Ta’Shia Phillips. · Amber Harris recorded her fifth 20-point game of the season with a game-high 23 points on 9-of-14 shooting including 3-of-3 from three-point range. · Ta’Shia Phillips’ season-high 21 rebounds set a new championship game record. · Xavier shot just 37.3 percent but held the Owls to 30.8 percent from the floor. XU won the battle of the boards by a slip 43-to-42 margin. · Xavier is 3-0 this season in overtime. · The Musketeers, winners of 18-straight, take home their third A-10 Championship in the last four years. · This is the sixth year in a row the Musketeers earned a first-round bye, and the second straight as the number one seed, at the Atlantic 10 Tournament. · XU has now won five A-10 Tournament titles: 2001 & 2010 (one seed), 2000 (two seed), 2007 & 2008 (three seed). Penn State holds the record for most A-10 Championships with six, no other team has more than four titles. · Head coach Kevin McGuff is 12-5 (.706) all-time in eight A-10 Tournament appearances, ranking him seventh among present and former head coaches. He has won three titles. · Xavier is 25-10 (.714) all-time in A-10 Championship games, including 5-1 in the finals. · Temple is now 29-24 (.546) all-time in A-10 Championship games, including 4-4 in the finals. The Owls have won four tournament titles all-time.
