CINCINNATI - On Saturday, February 9 Xavier will host the annual "National Girls and Women in Sports Night."  This event celebrates the accomplishments of former and current female athletes as examples of strength, power and courage. Current female Xavier student-athletes will be on the concourse from 5:00-6:00 p.m. signing autographs and for pictures.  The game vs. Temple begins at 6:00 p.m. The entire women's basketball team will remain on the court after the game to meet fans and sign autographs.

Girls and women active in any sport - soccer, volleyball, track, cross country, swimming, tennis, gymnastics, diving, basketball, cheer - whatever, are encouraged to support their sister athletes. Those who wear a uniform or jersey from their sport will receive admission to the game for only $3.
