Made seven three-pointers in the first half of XU's 85-76 win at Michigan on Nov. 15, setting a new Xavier record for three's made in one half ... Grabbed a career-high five rebounds in the Musketeers' home opener, a 71-59 win over Louisville on Nov. 23 ... Chipped in nine points in 3-of-8 shooting from behind the arc on Jan. 5 in XU's win over Missouri ... Went 3-of-4 from long range for nine points at Massachusetts on Jan. 16 ... Got back into a shooting rhythm on Feb. 1 vs. La Salle, going 5-of-8 from long range for 15 points ... Drained a clutch three with 21 seconds remaining in regulation to tie the game and send it into overtime at Dayton (2/5) ... Was a perfect 3-for-3 from behind the arc and 2-of-2 from the line for 11 points and tied her career high with four assists at Temple Feb. 27 ... Rutan was the first player off the bench for the Musketeers, averaging 24.8 mpg. over 26 contests.
2011 Postseason: Played in all five postseason games for the Musketeers in 2011, averaging 27.2 mpg. and 5.4 ppg. ... Sank five shots from long range for 15 points in NCAA Championship Second Round action against Louisville on March 22 ... Third on the team with 8.8 points per game in just 20.5 minutes per game, which was the sixth-highest average on the squad ... Finished third in the Atlantic 10 with a 3-point field goal percentage of .405 and was second in the conference with 2.5 made 3-point field goals per game ... Broke current assistant coach Amy Waugh's freshman single-season record for most made 3-point field goals. Rutan ended the season with a record 85 3-point field goals ... Scored a career-high 25 points and went 7-of-10 from long-range in Xavier's 92-50 dismantling of Saint Louis on January 20. Rutan earned the first start of her career against the Billikens ... Rutan missed her first seven 3-pointers of the contest but nailed her last three to get XU back into the game ... Followed that performance up with a 15-point effort in XU's 74-56 Sacramento Regional Semifinal victory against Gonzaga. She hit four of the 10 3-pointers she attempted, chased down a pair of rebounds and buried all three of her free throw attempts ... Averaged 8.0 points per game in 20.0 minutes per game during the NCAA Tournament.
Before Xavier: Scored 1,755 points during her four-year high school career, including 1,016 points during her final two years at Springside School ...
