A two-sport athlete, Phillips won the Atlantic 10 Shot Put Championship in May.
2009 Postseason: Averaged eight points and 5.5 rebounds in XU's two postseason contests ... Scored 10 points on 5-of-10 shooting and also snatched five rebounds in XU's A-10 Championship Quarterfinal against Dayton (3/7) ... Totaled six points and six rebounds in the team's NCAA First Round showdown against Gonzaga on March 21.
2007-08 (As a Sophomore): Became eligible following the first semester and saw time in XU's last 23 contests ... XU was 18-5 in those 23 contests ... Finished fifth on the team in scoring at 6.0 points and third on the team at 5.5 rebounds in only 18.1 minutes per game ... Second on the squad with a 42.9 percent field goal percentage ... Made her collegiate debut in style by scoring seven points in a one-minute span in XU's victory over Akron on December 28 ... Pulled down a career-high 10 rebounds and was only two points shy of a double-double in Xavier's victory over No. 7 Georgia on January 6 ... Notched double-digit points for the first time at XU when she dropped 12 on Saint Joseph's in only 16 minutes of action on January 21. Phillips was 3-of-6 from the floor vs. the Hawks but she also made a career-best six free throws in a career-high eight attempts ... Poured in a career-high 16 points on perfect 6-for-6 shooting in XU's trouncing of Rhode Island on February 3. Phillips also snared six boards vs. the Rams ... Hit her stride in late February when she averaged 14.3 points and 8.7 rebounds per game during a three game stretch. The stretch included a 15-point, eight-rebound effort in the win at La Salle on February 23.
2008 Postseason: Averaged 2.5 points and was third on the team at 6.5 rebounds per game during XU's four-game run in the postseason, which included another Atlantic 10 Championship and an appearance in the NCAA Tournament ... Phillips scored only two points but she corralled eight big rebounds in XU's win over Temple in the A-10 Championship Final ... Scored three points and hauled in seven boards vs. Nebraska in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
At Georgia Tech as a Freshman (2005-06): Played in 26 games and earned one starting assignment ... averaged 3.2 points per game and 2.8 rebounds per game n 9.4 minutes per game ... Scored a career-best 14 points on 5-of-9 shooting while snaring five rebounds vs. Clemson on January 29 ... Netted 11 points and was 4-of-5 from the floor in 13 minutes of action vs. Wake Forest on January 22 ... Played a career-high 24 minutes vs. No. 6 Maryland on January 25. Scored six points and hauled in a career-high eight rebounds vs. the eventual national champs ... Will become eligible following the first semester and will have two full years remaining after the 2007-08 campaign.
