Men's Tennis Signs Five-Star Recruit

CINCINNATI – Five-star recruit, Jimmy Roebker signed a National Letter of Intent to play tennis at Xavier during the fall signing period coach Eric Toth announced Thursday. A native of Ft. Mitchell, Ky. Roebker was ranked the No. 1 tennis recruit in Kentucky by Tennisrecruiting.net.

"It is not a stretch to say that Jimmy (Roebker) could contribute at any school in the country as a freshman next season,” said Toth. “We are very excited to have Jimmy as part of our program starting next year. Jimmy has performed at the highest level both in the classroom and on the court during his time in high school. He will be an immediate impact player in our line-up who I anticipate will help us get in position to compete for more Atlantic 10 championships and NCAA appearances."

Roebker was named a five-star recruit, was ranked No. 33 nationally, and No. 1 in Kentucky by tennisrecruiting.net. A standout player at Covington Catholic High School, he won the Kentucky High School State Singles Tournament his junior season.
