MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The Xavier men's tennis team opens play on Friday at the USTA/ITA Ohio Valley Regional tournament held in Memphis, Tennessee. Play begins at 8:30 a.m.

The Musketeers sent eight players total, six of whom will play in singles competition, and two doubles teams.

Two Musketeers earned seeds, as Jimmy Roebker earned the 17 seed in singles, and Roebker and Mesa Mei earned the 9 seed for the doubles portion of the tournament.

Other Musketeers competing in the singles draw are Michael Moe, Brandon MacDonald, Adam Krull, Zach Mueck and Mei. Patrick Bandy and Philip Diaz will only compete in doubles.

The Musketeers open play on Friday at 8:30 a.m. as Bandy and Diaz take on Wright State. Also playing at that time will be MacDonald and Mueck, who will take on IUPUI.

Xavier is looking to carry over some of the momentum it picked up from last weekend's Tennessee Invitational, where the Musketeers came away with a couple of titles.
