CINCINNATI-- Xavier overpowered Wright State today as the Musketeers won 5-2. This pushes the men to 3-0 in match play for the fall session.

Current A-10 Performer of the Week, Ryan Potts (Brookfield, WI/Marquette) won his match over Jim Grombacker, 6-3, 4-6, 6-0. The Musketeers also got big wins from newcomers Brent Lehring (Columbus, OH/Bexely) and Justin Yeager (Edgewood, KY/Dixie Heights). Lehring won his match 6-4, 6-4, while Yeager won after being down a set, 5-7, 6-1, 7-5.

In doubles action, Xavier won two out of the three matches with a big win coming from Matt Tbinnes (Loveland, OH) and Brent Lehring. Lehring and Thinnes won their match, 8-3.

The Musketeers have their final match of the fall on Tuesday when they host Northern Kentucky at 3 p.m.
