CINCINNATI - The NCAA released its Academic Progress Rate (APR) scores and Xavier University Athletics had four teams post perfect scores during the 2012-13 season. Additionally, five teams earned the APR Public Recognition Award for placing in the top 10 percent of the multi-year APR.

Four Xavier programs, men's tennis, women's golf, women's tennis and volleyball, scored a perfect APR score of 1000. Women's tennis is part of an elite group to post the perfect score in all nine years of the APR Report. This year marks the sixth-straight year for men's tennis, fifth-straight for women's golf and fourth-straight for volleyball.

Five teams - baseball, men's tennis, women's golf, women's tennis and volleyball - were honored with the APR Public Recognition Award. The annual award is given to programs in each sport that place in the top 10 percent of the multi-year Academic Progress Rates. Since it started after the 2004-2005 academic year, 59 teams from Xavier University received the Public Recognition Award.
