CINCINNATI - Xavier men's tennis players Mesa Mei and Jimmy Roebker were both selected to the All-BIG EAST Conference Team by the league's coaches. Mei was a unanimous selection for the Musketeers.

A senior, Mei closed out his career at Xavier with an 18-7 mark this year. He was a stellar 8-1 at No. 1 singles, while also registering a 10-6 record at No. 2. The native of Somerville, Mass., combined to go 13-7 at No. 1 doubles, which included a 12-7 mark with Roebker. Mei was also a two-time Atlantic 10 First Team honoree (2013, 2012) and an A-10 Second Team selection in 2011.

Roebker, also a senior, closed the season with an 11-15 record, going 5-12 at No. 1 and 6-3 at No. 2. The native of Ft. Mitchell, Ky., was a three-time A-10 First Team selection, wrapping up his illustrious collegiate career with four all-conference honors.

Competing in the BIG EAST for the first time this season, the Musketeers compiled a 15-12 overall record and 2-1 mark against league competition. Xavier defeated Butler to open the BIG EAST Championship, but fell to St. John's in the semifinals.
