CINCINNATI--- Xavier senior Rob Bakker (Beverwijk, The Netherlands) was named to the Atlantic 10 Men’s Tennis All-Conference Team on Wednesday. It is the third consecutive season for Bakker to be honored by the league.

In addition to the tennis honors, Bakker was named to the A-10 All-Conference First Team for soccer in the fall.

Bakker went 14-6 playing No. 1 singles and was 11-5 in doubles action this season. He won his first five Atlantic 10 matches of the year before ending with a 6-2 mark in league play.

The co-captain in tennis and soccer has also done well in the classroom, earning a spot on the Atlantic 10 Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll in all four of his years at Xavier.
