CINCINNATI - The Xavier men's tennis team looks to keep its Atlantic 10 winning streak alive when it squares off against conference foe Saint Louis at 2 p.m. on Friday at the St. Clair Tennis Club.
The Musketeers are 13-3 overall on the season and have not dropped any of their five league matches this spring. Friday's match is schedule to be the first outdoor event of the spring season.
Xavier has absolutely dominated their Atlantic 10 opponents thus far having only dropped two points to the likes of Temple, Richmond, Dayton, Butler and Duquesne.
Head coach Eric Toth has gotten production throughout the Musketeer lineup this spring. Adam Krull and Brandon MacDonald are 9-1 in their last 10 matches. Zach Mueck and Mesa Mei have only dropped two decisions in their last 10 contests. As a team XU is 76-20 in dual singles matches this spring.
Doubles has also been remarkably strong for the Musketeers who are a combined 35-8 in matches and have only dropped one doubles point.
Saint Louis is 4-8 and has lost three-straight, which includes a loss to Richmond in the team's only A-10 match this season. The Billikens are paced by Drew Feder and Luis Miguel Flores.
